Beta access
How access works
To join a beta, submit the form on the Beta page or reply to one of SSU's emails. SSU reviews each request, approves the tester and adds them to a test group. The group sets how you take part in the beta.
- Submit the form or reply to an SSU email.
- SSU approves you and chooses your test group.
- You are added and get your invitation with what is expected of you in the beta.
Beta spots are limited: each app takes up to 25 outside testers. Apps marked Waiting list cannot take outside testers yet, and when a beta is full new requests join its waiting list. SSU emails you as soon as a spot opens.
Request an invite
Ask to try an app.

How it works
How beta builds arrive.
After approval, SSU sends your invitation. For apps delivered through Apple’s TestFlight, install TestFlight from the App Store, open your invitation and tap Accept. WriteNudge is a direct download for Mac; its invitation includes download instructions. Beta builds will have rough edges. Tell SSU what you find by replying to your invitation email.

Feedback
Sending SSU feedback.
- On iPhone or iPad, open TestFlight, tap the app, then tap Send Beta Feedback. You can attach a screenshot.
- Or take a screenshot inside the app and tap Share Beta Feedback.
- If the app crashes, TestFlight asks whether you want to send a note. One sentence about what you were doing helps.
- Prefer email? Reply to your invitation, or use the support address on the app’s Help screen. The Support page lists where to write.
